I don't ususally paint pieces that aren't wood, but this gourd was too perfect to pass up. The section I painted with the checkerboard pattern was all scratched and dented, the unzipped section I restored to its original natural lovliness! Measures 10" x 6" including the stem. What a great fall centerpiece!
